Did you buy it? It's perfect. :o)

That looks like a more wholesome toy than this one. Though, I don't think I have seen a birder with a mustache like that.

Wow! That looks just like me when I wear my pith helmet and red birding ascot!

A pith helmet is exactly what I need! With my love for birds and my passion for Classical Archaeology, I will look cool no matter if I'm spouting Sibley or Socrates.

As for the LEGO, I'm holding out for the Ivory Billed Woodpecker edition.

Thanks for sharing.

Patrick,
This toy is awesome! And since Lego has now recognized birding it can only be a matter of time before it becomes "mainstream". :D
Actually I suspect that set will be given for birthdays, etc. to many kids...of ALL ages! ;)

Good luck to you & your team this weekend in the Birding Superbowl....hope our weather treats you right. I am leaving New England for FL tonight...enough of these frigid tempuratures!

What will they come up with next! If only they had LEGO Birdwatchers when I was a kid! LOL

I loved this so much that I included it in the latest WINGS newsletter--where the link has quickly become the most clicked-on in the history of our website.

Have a great time this weekend, Patrick. GO FOR THE GOLD--OR THE IVORY!!
