Thrasher!
I took these a few weeks ago at Sandy Hook. While I was manning the hawk watch platform, this Brown Thrasher sang basically non-stop for 4 hours or so from a few different perches.


Dedicated to birding, bugs, plants and other random nature stuff.

Nice photos! That is one of the first birds that I saw outside of my backyard. I knew there was something different about it and wanted to figure out its identification.
I love thrash birds!
Best name of any species / group in North America.
Looks like the same guy we saw at the platform. I love the Thrashers!
