My Barred Owl Call
I mentioned in a previous post that I got a Barred Owl to call on my "Beginner Walk" last Sunday. Here's some video of my attempt:
And here's what a real one sounds like:

That's a very cool Barred Owl video.
And having heard your Barred Owl call 'live' I can attest that Barred Owls can't resist you.
Great video. Gosh they're gorgeous owls!
You do the call very well, but I don't know that anyone's can compare to Scott's. For all the times I've heard him do it, none can compare with the one time a Barred called back in response - in the Adirondacks - down some desolate road in the middle of nowhere - it was really magical.
That was great Pat! I wish you had caught the call back on video, too...Bummer...I will have to be there next time!
I've not been hearing ours as much this year.
I hope its just that they've shifted their territory, not left entirely.
I still find a feather, now and then.
I've got to try that.I think I might be able to do it! Nice videoa.
