Raptor Heads

I visited The Raptor Trust today. I'm lucky to have this rehab center for birds of prey about 30 minutes from my house. I visited there many times as a kid with my dad who provided nuts and bolts for the cages there. Here are some shots of the captive birds.

Thanks Wren. I really like having it here. I think it's a great education experience for groups of kids or even adults. Plus, it helps out the birds a whole lot.

I visited this place last summer when it was really hot and muggy. It's in a nice setting under tall trees but it was a tough day for the people working there, and they do work hard for the birds. I was surprised to see that they rehab even non-native birds such as House sparrows and Starlings.
