Raptor Heads

I visited The Raptor Trust today. I'm lucky to have this rehab center for birds of prey about 30 minutes from my house. I visited there many times as a kid with my dad who provided nuts and bolts for the cages there. Here are some shots of the captive birds.

Those are beautiful pictures, Patrick. You are fortunate to have rehab facility nearby.

Thanks Wren. I really like having it here. I think it's a great education experience for groups of kids or even adults. Plus, it helps out the birds a whole lot.

I visited this place last summer when it was really hot and muggy. It's in a nice setting under tall trees but it was a tough day for the people working there, and they do work hard for the birds. I was surprised to see that they rehab even non-native birds such as House sparrows and Starlings.

You are so lucky to be so close to a rehab centre that allows you to do photo...most don't allow photos.
