Lucy Wayles

Has anyone ever read the "Lucy Wayles" mystery books by Lydia Adamson? The titles include Beware the Butcher Bird, Beware the Tufted Duck, and Beware the Laughing Gull.

I've never heard of her before but the first one in the series (Tufted Duck) was available on PaperBackSwap. I had a credit available so I'll be reading it soon. Reviews on Amazon weren't too hot though so I don't have high expectations. Have you read any of them?

Patrick, consider visiting Laurent's blog (a French guy who emigrated to the US and a good friend of mine), just so you know what to expect pretty soon:

@Amy - Funny that you mention PBS. That's actually where I saw the book. We just put up a bunch of stuff on there to make room for baby! I haven't read them, but I too saw the Amazon reviews.

@Jochen - Thanks for the link!

Never heard of her but it sounds like it could be interesting. The name reminded me of The Outlaw Josey Wales with Clint Eastwood.-I was a big fan of that movie.I don't think Clint is a birder but he was a big fan of Charlie Parker who they called "The Bird"
