AAAaaaaaaaah!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

I was starting to wonder ....

Absolutely gorgeous and clearly the concentrated facial expression of a future ace birder :-)))))

All the very best to the three of you and I sincerely hope you got yourself a whole pile of sleep in the months before so you can go without now for, I don't know, say 2 years or so? ;-))))))

Geez, that's good news to read all is well and fine!!

I'm a bit late to the party but I'll offer my congratulations as well. I also second Jochen's comment hoping you and Beth got ahead on your sleep... :)

He looks fantastic--can't wait to meet him once we're settled in in Princeton this fall!

Hi Rick, I caught something on facebook about Princeton, but didn't realize you were moving there. Awesome! I look forward to birding with you.

Patrick, she is beyond beautiful! Have you started a life list for her?

Ha ha.
I notice a certain scarcity of blog updates...
Seems you're busy, young father?

Hope all is well and running smoothly. The first few months with my son were so incredibly busy I can't believe I actually made it.

Cheers and all the best!!

Patrick B. said...

LOL! Yep, definitely a scarcity of updates. Things are going great!!!

That's good to know.

And when things get tough, remember: it gets easier after 3 months (it really does) and others have told me that once your offspring is beyond the age of 21 years, you can really lean back and relax.

Congratulations!
We have a custom in Sri Lanka, when we look at a newly born baby, we tell the farther how a certain (facial) feature is just like his.

So, with that in mind, I am going to say that he has your nose!

Patrick B. said...

Amila - I always find other country's customs so interesting. Thank you for that. I think he might have my nose and I know for sure that he has my head shape. It's hard to see that in this photo though. He also has my hair. By that, I mean that he has very little.
