Ruby-throated Hummingbird Migration Map

The 2007 Ruby-throated Hummingbird Migration Map is up at hummingbirds.net. You can use this great tool to track your sighting of northbound migrants or to see how close they are to getting to your area. It's a good way to judge when to start filling your feeders. Spring is arriving pretty quickly...

I got a hummer feeder for Christmas, so this will be my first try at feeding them--that chart (and link to Hummingbird.com) was very helpful. My only previous experience with hummers was in Harlingen, TX (my hometown) with my mom; she fed them year-round! In Central PA, however--I think I'll need the chart....

Good luck! You should be able to attract one with a feeder. I usually put mine up in April here in north-central NJ.
