Coolest birds ever!! So glad you got to go.

Arrugh. I'm not sure how I feel about wind turbines. I'd love to love them. But they could just be more bad news.

Here's to hoping the government makes the right choice.

Coque coque!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10864708.post-16240769928462088942010-03-14T23:17:12.454-04:002010-03-14T23:17:12.454-04:00OMG, what a list!OMG, what a list!Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04550692601943778577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10864708.post-8538762944844178072010-02-12T08:20:31.788-05:002010-02-12T08:20:31.788-05:00Wow, what a trip list! Although we do also have a sub-endemic species of the Grackle also, which are smaller I beleive.Albertohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13993481424993739786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10864708.post-84385665188082076442010-02-10T20:41:53.553-05:002010-02-10T20:41:53.553-05:00Wow! Also some species like the Greater Antillean Grackle, and Loggerhead Kingbird have been elevated to new species by a peer reviewed Journal but I guess the ABA doesnt recognize it still. There are enedemic sub-species in P.R like the Broad Winged Hawk and others that may be elevated to species in the future. Species like the Euphonia also are probably endemic species to P.R but no research has been done on this.

Thanks!Albertohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13993481424993739786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10864708.post-79443015411602540492010-02-10T14:54:59.211-05:002010-02-10T14:54:59.211-05:00Alberto,

We only saw a few more, but we didn't spend much time in the city.Patrick B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09080082715363887351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10864708.post-12177413387414945792010-02-10T04:23:03.923-05:002010-02-10T04:23:03.923-05:00Oh wow!

What a fantastic trip!!!
However, you did not include a picture of a house sparrow. I generally suggest all blog posts about tropical birds should contain at least one cleansing House Sparrow for those poor readers who are stuck in a wintery temperate zone...Jochenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10852825311605464857noreply@blogger.com
